Stewardship is a faith issue . . .
Despite that fact, and the estimated 2,350 verses in the Bible related to money, most church members don't truly understand stewardship. Current giving seldom exceeds 2% of their income and few churches sustain operations on current giving alone. The United Methodist Church is projecting a 25% drop in gifts in the next decade.
