Income Fund

Operates very much like a money market fund but with higher returns. Principal is guaranteed by the Foundation and a set rate of return is paid for each full day the funds are on deposit. Deposits and withdrawals may be made anytime without penalty. Rate of return is subject to change.

Current Rate: 1.75%

Why income fund?

  • Liquid-- Money is available at any time.
  • Cost-efficient-- There are no fees of any kind.
  • Flexible-- No "locked in" time or early withdrawal penalty.
  • Adjustable-- Rates increase with the market.
  • Connectional-- Together, the churches and institutions of the Louisiana Annual Conference accomplish more.

Balanced Fund

Invests up to 70% of the fund in a diversified portfolio of domestic and international stocks, which are further diversified by style and size. The diversification is designed to dampen volatility during difficult periods in the stock market. The volatility of the fund is expected to be lower than an all-stock portfolio and should provide a real return in excess of the long-term inflation rate. Deposits and withdrawals are made on a monthly basis. Established 1985.
$10,000 invested in the Balanced Fund on January 1, 1985, and left intact, would now be worth $67,797.69.

* Since the Balanced Fund is a blend of 70% equity and 30% fixed, our benchmark is a blended index comprised of 70% S&P 500 and 30% Lehman Intermediate Government Credit.

Equity Fund

Our Equity Fund is an all equity option which invests up to 100% of its assets in a diversified portfolio of domestic and international stocks, further diversified by style and size. While this asset allocation increases the potential for maximum growth over longer periods of time, it also increases the potential for short-term volatility and significant loss of market value. This fund may be appropriate for that portion of your institution’s permanent endowment fund, which is not relied upon for annual income but seeks long-term growth. Established 1997.

$10,000 invested in the Equity Fund on January 1, 1997, and left intact, would now be worth $21,765.13.
