Kelly Johannessen
Director of Communications

Kelly is responsible for the development and production of the Foundation's collateral materials and resources. She has many years of experience in communications, marketing and event planning.

Kelly earned her B.A. in Journalism/Advertising from LSU. Her previous experience includes work as a law firm marketing manager and as director of education for a statewide bar association.

A native of Baton Rouge, Kelly is a member of First United Methodist Church of Baton Rouge and has served on its Administrative Board and Early Learning Center Governing Board. She is active in the Wesley Fellowship Class at First Methodist and a member of the Planned Giving Council of Greater Baton Rouge, a collaboration of nonprofit organizations, professional advisors and other community leaders established to promote public interest in charitable giving.

Kelly and her husband, Bob, enjoy soccer, scouting and other school activities with their two children.
