Tracie Wharton
Controller

Tracie joined the Foundation in April 1999 to coordinate the loans and grants programs. In 2001, she assumed responsi-bility for the financial operations of the Foundation as well. She is a CPA with 20 years of experience in banking and finance. She previously worked for the fourth largest retail bank in the nation.

Tracie earned her B. A. in Finance from Louisiana Tech University in 1989. She is a member of the Louisiana Society of CPAs and serves in the Baton Rouge Chapter.

A native of Baton Rouge, Tracie is a member of First United Methodist Church, where she serves on the Executive Committee of the Administrative Board and of the United Methodist Women.

Tracie and her husband Tre' have two teenage children.
