Clergy Meet-N-Greets with Foundation President Continue

Foundation President Chris Spencer continues a series of meet-n-greets for clergy members across the state.

Earlier this year, President Chris Spencer held informal lunches for pastors in Monroe, Alexandria and Shreveport to better connect with them. These meet-n-greets have continued this fall.

In the past four weeks, Spencer has held ”Meet & Greets” across the state in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lake Charles and Covington. These gatherings are the continuation of a larger initiative to connect with pastors in each district. At these events, clergy can mingle and build bonds not only with each other but with the Foundation.

Rev. Christine Hardy attended the Lake Charles meet-n-greet and said, “There was definitely a peace and present of the Holy Spirit that was dwelling among us as I am still on cloud 9 from this beautiful gathering.”

Spencer expects to hold more events for clergy members across the state in the coming months. He said, “Especially in these times, it’s important for us to have informal gatherings like this, just to get to know one another and have a chance for conversation.”
